FRD presented the VIDI-Video project at the 40th Annual IASA Conference in Athens on September 22-25. VIDI-Video was also present in the poster session of the Conference
CERTH and Sound and Vision are jointly organizing a workshop as part of the CBMI industrial day. VIDI-Video will also be presented within this workshop.
The VIDI-Video project has been presented by Sound and Vision at the Emerging Media Practices and Environments conference in Helsinki on May 28.
Arnold Smeulders, Cees Snoek and Koen van de Sande have attended the CHORUS Final Conference in Brussels on the 26th and 27th of May. They gave demonstrations of the VIDI-Video system.

UNIMORE organized a national workshop in Modena on 20 Feb 2009 on VideoSurveillance for urban safety. The workshop, attended by 300 participants, was opened with a speech of the head of the Italian Police, Dr. Antonio Manganelli. The VidiVideo project was presented during the Rita Cucchiara’s speech.
